Registered Nurse

Pride Health is seeking a RN MedSurg to join a team in Rochester MN. This is a 13-week contract with a possibility of extension.

Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions. The RN will adhere to the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and ANA Scope and Standards of Practice while demonstrating leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year of U.S. travel nursing experience
• 2 years of recent acute hospital care experience
• Current RN license (per applicable state requirements)
• BLS Certification:
• Midwest: BCLS must not expire within 3 months of start

Education Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited program (ACEN or CCNE)
• If not accredited by ACEN or CCNE, then:
• 1 year RN experience (within last 5 years) in an applicable setting
• If graduated more than 2 years ago:
• Must have 1 year of RN experience in applicable setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care
• Lead through preceptorship, informal leadership, or QI projects
• Delegate patient care based on acuity, resources, and team capabilities
• Engage in mentoring, teaching, and potential committee participation

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Shifts:

• Priority 1: 8-hour shifts – Straight Evenings + Every 3rd Weekend
• Priority 2: 12-hour shifts – Day/Night Rotation + Every 3rd Weekend
• Priority 3: 12-hour shifts – Straight Nights + Every 3rd Weekend

Pay: $2600/week
