RN Med/Surg

Job Title: RN Med-Surg

Location: Waterloo, Iowa, 50703

Schedule: 12X3

Shift:Nights

Pay Range: $2200- $2325/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and wellness strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Accurately document all care provided using Epic EMR

Requirements,Education and Certifications:

• Active RN License
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg and/or Acute care experience
• Epic experience is a must
