School Registered Nurse | Anoka, Minnesota New

A contract position is available for a Registered Nurse to provide onsite nursing services at an elementary school in Anoka, MN. This role supports students health and well-being during a maternity leave period from March 10, 2026, through June 5, 2026. The nurse will work Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, collaborating closely with the local health para and licensed school nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including assessment, medication administration, and health monitoring
• Manage caseload in coordination with one and a half licensed school nurses and one health paraprofessional
• Respond promptly to student health needs and emergencies following established protocols
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
• Support health education and promote a safe school environment for all students
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Minnesota RN license with school nursing experience
• Strong skills in school nursing practices and onsite pediatric care
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary school health team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience managing caseloads in educational settings is a plus
  
  

Location: Anoka, MN (Jackson Middle School)

Duration: March 10, 2026 June 5, 2026 (Leave coverage contract)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
