UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg for a nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

30% FTE, 10 hour shift every other Saturday and Sunday, includes a 4 hour evening shift Friday preceding weekend shift.  Required holiday rotation in addition to FTE. You will be working at 8501 Excelsior Dr. in Madison, WI.  Please Note: Remote work option is available after onsite orientation.  This position requires the candidate to live within 1 hour of the 8501 Excelsior Dr, Madison, WI work location at this time.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

  • Assist patients with symptom-based calls outside of clinic business hours.
  • Work as part of a team of nurses with an average of over 20 years of experience.
  • Collaborate with on-call providers and other departments to meet patient needs.

 Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
Work Experience
  • 3 years of clinical experience Required
  • 5 years of clinical experience Preferred
  • Varied clinical background: Emergency Room, Urgent Care, Critical Care, Home Health, and/or Case Management) Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Maintain state RN licensure in state where employed Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Preferred
