Treasurer Elect Position

After the Rochester AACN Chapter Election meeting in June, Abby Baier indicated her intent to fill the open position of Treasurer-Elect.  The Rochester AACN Board appointed Abby Baier as “Treasurer-Elect Pro Tem” on July 11.  In order to allow adequate notice of the Special Election for the position of Treasurer-Elect, the notice for the Special Election was announced at the chapter meeting on July 17.  The Rochester AACN Chapter Special Election to fill the open position of Treasurer-Elect will take place at the chapter meeting on August 21, 2017.

The following is a relevant excerpt from the Rochester AACN Chapter Bylaws:  “To be eligible for election to an officer position, an active or emeritus Chapter Member must be in good standing, and have attended at least half of the chapter meetings in the past year.” 

Only Chapter Members in good standing (including current “Active” membership status for both Rochester Chapter and National AACN) are eligible to vote.  If an individual wishes to vote and will be unable to attend the Special Election on August 21, 2017, he or she may indicate a proxy vote by 1800 that same date via email to Rysavy.Michael@mayo.edu .
